The ceremony happened weeks earlier but I was lucky enough to be on hand for the celebration that followed this month in Atlanta where I documented the gorgeous married couple with their family and friends. In the short time since these photos were made, Ryan, a friend since high school, and her husband Bobby have packed up their belongings and set out on a six-month adventure traveling the world. How. Incredible. Click here to follow their blog. Cheers to new beginnings!
I love a good springtime pig pickin' and Megan and Kesler's was as good as it gets. Gorgeous weather, home-brewed beer and a dear friend manning the swine! I loved being there to capture it.
Oh, how I loved this wedding! Liz and Tim were married the afternoon of November 8th at a charming old cottage in Atlantic Beach. The Exum Brown Welfare Cottage was built by Liz's family in 1937 and was one of the first houses on the island. It was completely endearing in every way and the people who filled its rooms and porches were equally so. The party moved to Beaufort after sunset and continued well into the night. I was honored to be the one behind the lens.
My mouth dropped when I walked into Spoon River Artworks & Market in Belhaven last week. I was there to both celebrate and photograph Codi and Stuart's wedding rehearsal dinner which was gorgeously planned and hosted by Stuart's parents Carla and Tommy. It was the quintessential Southern dinner party right down to the deer heads and dancing. Just stunning.
As alluded to in my previous post, I recently trekked north on the occasion of Gray and Marc's tenth wedding anniversary to photograph their most fabulous booze cruise on the Boston Harbor. Local bluegrass band (yes, in Boston!) Chasing Blue played into the night and kept everybody a shakin'. Bandmates were all alums of Boston's Berklee College of Music and could not have sounded better. It was a joyous celebration of friends and family that I was quite honored to document.
